Meet The Incoming Executive

The following six (6) candidates have been elected to office. 

Montez Knowles

President

Montez Knowles is an experienced Business Analyst and Project Management Professional with over 14 years of work experience in both Canada and The Bahamas within a variety of industries. He migrated to Canada in 2006 studying at Saint Mary's University in Halifax Nova, Scotia. Upon Graduating in 2011 with a double major in Computer Information Systems & Management, Montez decided to pursue career opportunities in Toronto, where he currently resides in the downtown core. His hobbies include everything basketball, reading, travelling and meeting new people. Montez is passionate about innovation in technology and giving back to his community.

Prescott Davis

Director of Memberships

Prescott is an engineer by profession and brings over 10 years of experience working on various diverse project teams across Canada. These include several major infrastructure projects such as the Route 1 Gateway Project in New Brunswick and the Union Pearson Express in Ontario. Prescott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and is completing a Master’s in Business Administration. Prescott was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas and has resided in Canada since 2006. Prescott’s hobbies include travelling and basketball.

Lashana Graham

Secretary

Lashana is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in private and public accounting across various industries. Originally from Andros, Bahamas, she attended high school in Nassau, Bahamas before moving to Canada in 2006 to obtain a BBA from York University. Her hobbies include reading, fitness and travelling. 

Michael C. Reckley

Director of Finance

Michael Reckley is a born Bahamian that has an extensive background in the financial industry. With an MBA from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK, a Canadian Securities Certificate (CSC) from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP). Michael has worked in the United Kingdom, Amsterdam, the Bahamas and Toronto. His career path has allowed him to work in many facets of the financial industry, where he has worked in the securities department, trading, as a private banker, portfolio advisor and currently as a financial advisor. Michal has gained tremendous experience working with Credit Suisse, Pictet Bank, Edward Jones Investments, RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) and currently Sun Life Financial.

 

Michal also has a professional background in track and field as a coach, collegiate athlete and as a professional, representing his home country the “Bahamas” in the Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, Central American and Caribbean Games and the Carifta Games.
